We would like to introduce a case where a blow disk was used as a bridging countermeasure at the discharge section of a dryer hopper. Flake-shaped raw materials can present more troublesome cases compared to pellets or general grinding materials. In this instance, to address this issue, we are injecting air at a higher pressure for each blow disk individually. This is an introduction to a case where the Brody Disk Mini was used as a solution for the strong adhesion of powder coatings at a powder equipment manufacturer. Here is a case study of a major chemical company that adopted our solution. Despite the hopper's apex angle being approximately 30° (with an inclination of about 75° from the horizontal plane), they consulted us due to difficulties in discharge. Using a hopper that the customer had (not an actual machine), we conducted tests with our loaned equipment, and after subsequent discussions, they adopted our BroaDisk. The results are very good! I would like to introduce a case where a total of 3 items were adopted.

The customer contacted us requesting to borrow a "Broady Disk Mini" because the crushed material was getting stuck in the hopper. Since the hopper in question was a small rectangular hopper, we prepared and sent four units of the Broady Disk Mini "BD-08S type" for the customer to try out. There was a viewing window on one side of the hopper, so after installing one Broady Disk Mini on each of the two opposing sides of the remaining three sides and testing it, it was concluded that while there was an effect, it would be even better to install one on the last side as well. The measures for the shelf suspension of incineration ash have been adopted. We received contact from the customer stating, "The hopper's slope is 45° and is too gentle, causing bridging." As a countermeasure, they had already decided to modify the hopper (by adding steel plates to create a steep slope), but they also expressed a desire to add our equipment in line with this. Since it was mentioned that the incineration ash had a high moisture content, we provided a proposal for installation considering this. A total of 14 blow discs were arranged on the 2500 surface (2 surfaces).
